Douglas Clarke is a technology executive, architect, writer, and public communicator working at the intersection of AI system design and human creativity. 28 years building media technology products, from embedded processors to content platforms. An active playwright and producer whose works, Soulmate and Anxious Attachment, explore the depths of human emotion and vulnerability. Douglas is currently building an ethical AI architecture to support human creativity at Sides, the casting platform he co-founded, and leading the TV Academy's first agentic AI education program. Across these roles, he stresses governance that is human-led and human-centric, casting AI in the service of human expression.
